Chicago’s only five-story domed Omnimax® theater, four restaurats, gift shops, and permanent exhibits, The Museum of Science and Industry gives curious minds the chance to tour a U-505 Submarine, learn about the connection between the human mind, body, and spirit, watch the wonders in the Baby Chick Hatchery, and much, much more!
Jellies have staying power. They’ve survived—and thrived—in the Earth’s oceans for more than 500 million years. And a dazzling array of diverse species will extend their stay at Shedd’s special exhibit, Jellies. Extended through 2013.
Housed in the only remaining building from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, the musuem is one of the largest science museums in the world and home to more than 35,000 artifacts and nearly 14 acres of hands-on exhibits designed to spark scientific inquiry and creativity.
