131 E. Dunes Highway
Beverly Shores, IN 46301
The fun begins as soon as you see the big, beer-guzzling deer sign out front. Head inside and you’ll discover upscale versions of old-school diner-style dishes. Feast on chicken wings, five-hour braised pot roast, parmesan-encrusted whitefish and gourmet macaroni and cheese—made with local ingredients whenever possible. The atmosphere is funky, totally casual and welcoming to everyone from just-off-the-beach-goers to polished business professionals. Little ones are especially welcome at Bartlett’s—the chefs have created a special kids’ menu, and there’s a cool play area out on the patio. Don’t miss… Bartlett’s Bloody Mary, which the chef describes as a “virtual appetizer” sitting atop a hand-blended secret recipe.
Hours: Open for lunch and dinner
Phone: 219-879-3081
Cost: $10-$20 per entree
