Start your Saturday off by boarding the 502, 504, or 606 SSL train and ride to our 57th Street station. Once you exit the train, you can take the 6 minute walk to the front steps of the Museum of Science and Industry, where you will spend your morning wandering through the mirror maze of Infinite Amazement and The Science Behind Pixar!

Visit the Museum Cafe for a cup of coffee and then immerse yourself in all of the exhibits the Museum of Science and Industry has to offer.

Afternoon
Hungry after all the exploring?! Take advantage of the dining options that the museum has to offer by visiting The Brain Food Court or the Museum Cafe.

Wrap up your early afternoon at the Museum of Science and Industry by visiting one of the many shops including Museum Store, U-505 Store, Launch Pad, and The Kids Stop Shop! Don’t forget your souvenir photo at the Museum Photo Studio.

Next stop: Michigan Avenue! Depending on the number in your party and what time you planned to leave the museum, you can hop on train 506(2:25pm) at 57th Street station, ride up to Millennium and then walk down Michigan Avenue, or you can grab a cab from the museum and head to your shopping destination. From pet boutiques, to home good stores, to sports apparel shops, and department stores, the magnificent mile has all you need. Night
The fourth of July is not the only time for fireworks in Chicago! Navy Pier has fireworks for you and the family all summer Memorial Day through Labor Day(600 E Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60611).

Walk 6 minutes to the Illinois & Rush bus stop and catch the (orange line) 65 Grand bus to Navy Pier for a smashing finish to your day in the city! Or if you feel like walking, its about a 20 minute stroll to the Pier.

Hungry for some grub before the show? Navy Pier has your dining covered with restaurants such as Billy Goat Tavern, Giordano’s, Harry Caray’s, and Freshii.
