Morning
Start your Saturday off by boarding the 502, 504, or 606 SSL train, and ride to Museum Campus/11th Street. Once you exit the train, you can take the 8-minute walk to the front steps of the Field Museum where you will spend your morning digging for dinosaurs frozen in time! (1400 S Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60605)

Explore the antarctic dinosaurs exhibit, and see how this once lush, forested environment was home to two species that are new to science.

Afternoon
Hungry after all the exploring? Take advantage of dining options that the museum has to offer by eating at The Explorer Cafe or the Field Green Bar and Grill.

Wrap up your early afternoon at the Field Museum by visiting one of the shops, so you can take home a Field Museum souvenir. You can even build your own stuffed dinosaur at the Dino Lab!

Next stop: Michigan Avenue! Depending on the number in your party and what time you planned to leave the museum, you can hop on train 506 (2:34pm) at Museum Campus, ride up to Millennium Station, and then walk down Michigan Avenue, or you can grab a cab from the museum and head to your shopping destination. From pet boutiques and home good stores to sports apparel shops and department stores, the magnificent mile has all you need. Night
