Your Weekend Planner to Black Friday Shopping

Black Friday is coming and so are all of the great deals on items for those on your Christmas list. Let the South Shore Line take you downtown for a day of great deals, fantastic food, and holiday fun!

Macy’s is a great start for your Black Friday adventure and the Walnut Room is open from 8 am – 9 pm on Friday, November 29. You can dine under the light of the 4-foot tree filled with over 1,200 ornaments and 15,000 sparking lights.

The Great Tree Buffet is available until January 6th. They have an amazing assortment of dishes but we are especially fond of the butternut squash tortellacci. They even have a kids buffet perfect for your lil shopping partner. Don’t forget to try one of their amazing holiday desserts as well.

You will need to join the seating waitlist on the 7th floor iPad/tech station when you arrive to save your spot. For more information visit: https://www.visitmacysusa.com/event/great-tree-lighting-buffet-walnut-room-macys-state-street.

With a full belly, it’s time to dig into those holiday deals that Macy’s has to offer!

Are you more of a deal browser and not a buyer? Not a problem. There is so much more to do downtown!

It has been a longstanding holiday tradition to decorate the windows of Macy’s on State Street. This year’s theme is Believe in the Wonder, and what a wonder it is! You can peer through the creative holiday scenes of this year’s displays.

Don’t forget to stop by Santaland on State Street to have your photo taken with Saint Nick and tell him everything you have on your holiday wish list. Santa will be on the 5th floor of Macy’s from 7 am – 8 pm.
