We like to think this wintery weather arrived just in time for the Christkindlmarket kickoff!  On Thursday, November 14 from 5 – 9 pm there will be a PREVIEW event for the Christkindlmarket. Get your tickets for ‘Twas the Night Before Christkindlmarket and let the South Shore Line take you there!   

There are 2 ticket packages available for the preview event.  

VIP Experience

The Christkindlmarket officially opens to the public on Friday, November 15 – December 24. It will be open daily Sunday through Thursday from 11 am – 8 pm and Friday through Saturday from 11 am – 9 pm with exceptions of Thanksgiving (November 28) and Christmas Eve (December 24) when it will be open from 11 am – 4 pm.  

Be sure to make a reservation at the Stammtisch to enjoy all of the amazing and delicious German and European fare that the market has to offer.  

Getting to the Christkindlmarket at the Richard J. Daley Center 

  • Hop off the train at Millennium Station. 
  • Exit the station up to East Randolph Street. 
  • Head west on East Randolph Street, and walk 3 blocks/5 minutes to the Daley Center on the corner of Dearborn Street and Randolph Street.
