Your Weekend Planner To Fall Fest at Lincoln Park Zoo

 

The Lincoln Park Zoo is hosting their fifth annual Fall Fest! These free, family-friendly events invite you to enjoy the magic of autumn in the heart of Chicago and the South Shore Line can get you there! 

The events will take place every Friday – Sunday, September 27 – October 27 and on Monday October 14 from 10 AM – 5 PM at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

This year’s festival will feature ticketed attractions throughout the zoo such as a Ferris wheel, corn maze, corn pool, fun slide, inflatable obstacle course, and much more. To view the schedule and find more information for this event, please visit the Lincoln Park Zoo Fall Fest webpage.

Be sure to plan for the Spooky Zoo event on Saturday, October 26 from 10 AM – 1 PM! Bring your ghosts, goblins, masked superheroes, or other costumed family members to this free, fun, and safe, trick-or-treating event at the Zoo.

South Shore to Lincoln Park Zoo

  • Take the #502 train to Millennium Station.
  • Hop off the train at Millennium Station.
  • Purchase a CTA Ventra card for bus fare at the Metra ticket vending machine.
  • Exit the station up to East Randolph Street, and head east to North Michigan Avenue.
  • Turn south on North Michigan Avenue, and walk 1 block to the CTA Michigan/Washington bus stop.
  • Take the 151 Sheridan bus to the Lincoln Park Zoo stop.

The Zoo has many options to feed your heard and the Park Place Café is a great indoor spot to stop and enjoy a meal or a snack throughout your day. They offer a variety of food options including Mexican, Italian, burgers, sandwiches, and more!
