Your Weekend Planner To Fall Festival & Arts in the Dark Parade

Looking for a day of fall family fun in Chicago?

Take the South Shore Line on Saturday, October 19, to the Fall Festival in Maggie Daily Park. The FREE event kicks off a 12 pm and includes games, prizes, and candy!

To learn more information about the Fall Festival event you can go to the Chicago Park District website.

There will be food and drinks available for purchase around the park to help quench your thirst and settle those rumbly tummies, but we suggest getting to Chicago early and grabbing some amazing eats from Giordano’s.

Take the westbound South Shore Line train #606 to Millennium Station. From there head east on Randolph Street toward N Michigan Ave. Turn left onto N Beaubien Ct. Turn Right and take the stairs. Giordano’s will be on the right.

Maggie Daily Park is just a short walk on E Randolph Street toward Columbus Dr. The Park is located between Columbus Drive and Lake Shore Drive.

After a long day of playing in the park you can choose to head back to Millennium Station to get back home OR you can follow the crowd at 5 pm to the Arts in the Dark Parade!

The parade will begin at 6 pm and will travel down State Street from Lake to Van Buren. State street comes to life with the help of local artists, performers, puppets, bands, floats, and so much more!
