Temporary busing between South Bend & Carroll Ave stations Aug. 2 – Sept. 3, 2021

The South Shore Line plans to temporarily bus passengers between Carroll Ave. Station and the South Bend International Airport while we upgrade our track and segments of overhead wire between Michigan City and South Bend.

  •  No bikes will be transported via bus.

  • Service to Hudson Lake is suspended during busing. Hudson Lake

    passengers are encouraged to board at Carroll Ave. station.

  • Michigan City 11th Street Station is temporarily closed as of May 1.

  • The following trains are canceled during busing:

              o WB Tr 422, Tr 424 and EB Tr 401, Tr 701 & Tr 703.

Westbound passengers departing from South Bend will board buses located just north of the train platform at the South Bend International Airport. Passengers will disembark the bus at Carroll Ave. and board their normally scheduled trains for the balance of their westbound trips.

Eastbound passengers destined for South Bend will disembark their trains at Carroll Ave. and board a bus for the remainder of their trips to South Bend.
