In order to accommodate bridge construction near Hammond Station, the South Shore Line will provide busing substitution for eastbound train passengers on Friday, Aug. 23; Monday, Aug. 26; and Tuesday, Aug. 27, between Hegewisch and Miller/Carroll Ave. stations.
The temporary busing includes the following trains:
- Weekday EB Tr 201, Tr 203, Tr 205 – HEGEWISCH TO MILLER
- Weekday EB Tr 103, Tr 105 – HEGEWISCH TO CARROLL AVE.
Buses will arrive and depart with passengers to match the SSL published train schedule between Hegewisch and Miller/Carroll Ave. stations. Passengers on Tr 201, Tr 203, Tr 205, Tr 103 and Tr 105 will detrain at Hegewisch to board buses for their destination stations.
