Executive Session – 9:30 A.M.

The Board of Trustees of the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District will meet in Executive Session on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. in the Board Room of the Administrative Office of the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District, 33 East U.S. Hwy. 12, Chesterton, Indiana. Members of the Board of Trustees and necessary staff may participate in the meeting electronically.  The purpose of the meeting is discussion of strategy with respect to:

To accommodate passengers attending the Notre Dame vs. Navy football game at 3:30p ET on Nov. 6, South Bend Transpo will offer FREE shuttle bus service between the South Bend International Airport and Notre Dame Stadium for select South Shore Line trains.

To show our gratitude, all active-duty military personnel and veterans are invited to ride the South Shore Line for free November 8-10, 2021, and on Veterans Day (November 11).

To accommodate passengers attending the Chicago Bears vs. 49ers home game at noon on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, the South Shore Line plans to stop select trains at Metra’s 18th Street Station, which connects passengers directly to the Soldier Field entrance via a pedestrian walkway. 

The South Shore Line is scheduled to provide extra train service for the Notre Dame vs. North Carolina football game on Oct. 30, with South Bend Transpo offering free shuttle bus service between the South Bend International Airport and Notre Dame Stadium.
