Board of Trustees Executive Session – 1:30 P.M.
The Board of Trustees of the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District will hold an executive session on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Administrative Office of the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District, 33 East U.S. Hwy. 12, Chesterton, Indiana. Members of the Board of Trustees may participate in the executive session electronically. The purpose of the executive session is to have a discussion of strategy with respect to:

The South Shore Line announces plans to periodically bus passengers between various stations to help facilitate pre-construction third-party utility work and the Double Track NWI construction project (https://www.doubletrack-nwi.com/), which will substantially decrease travel times to and from Chicago.
The first of these busing segments will occur between Dune Park and Gary Metro Center stations, effective from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 20-23, 2021 and April 27-29, 2021.
The South Shore Line announces it will continue its “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” promotion to include May monthly tickets. All monthly tickets purchased for the month of May 2021 will remain valid throughout June.
Passengers purchasing a paper May monthly ticket should plan to keep that ticket and use it through June, and passengers purchasing a digital May monthly ticket via the mobile app will see a June ticket uploaded to their accounts prior to June 1.
The South Shore Line advises passengers that the Michigan City 11th Street Station and parking lots will be CLOSED for an extended period of time effective Saturday, May 1, 2021.
